Puppy Dog Training Camp

For the health and welfare of your dog, look into a puppy dog training camp where you dog gets socialized and learns many basic commands that help to make your puppy a welcome part of your family as well as a welcome member of society in general.

Puppy training can include a variety of different commands and behavior modification programs and of course, probably one of the most important ones to you is outside potty training. This time in life can be a very traumatizing situation for your puppy, especially if you lean on the age-old methods of spanking and throwing out the door. Today, puppy potty training is done in a whole different manner. And for the psychological welfare of your puppy, you need to look into these new methods.

Puppies are often inquisitive, rambunctious, and can find a wild variety of ways to get into trouble with things that are dangerous to them. Many professional trainers are going to recommend kenneling for your puppy. In fact, at puppy dog day camp, doggie day camps, and puppy dog day cares you're going to find that they need to be kennel trained in order to be transported safely. Most professional trainers say that a kennel is sort of like a dog den, it's a place to feel safe, warm and comforted. In this way, your dog will have a safe haven to go to when things get a little scary, and of course, it helps with puppy potty training.

Anytime you have to be gone more than six or eight hours a day your dog should not be left alone even when they have a very safe place to be. A safe place can be a room that is closed off that is designated as the dog room where they cannot get into things that are troubling to them, an outside fenced yard during good weather, or better yet, at the doggie daycare. Doggie daycare is now available in a variety of different areas where you can drop your dog off in the morning and picked them up at night.

Most of these puppy day cares are going to also include some puppy dog training camp activities. But more than that, they'll learn how to behave socially, gain confidence in themselves, and confidence in you. By dropping them off on a daily basis they soon recognize that you'll be returning very soon to pick them up again. In the meantime, there will be playtime with other puppies, affection training and attention, all done by those people who are running the daycare, possibly a certified dog trainer, and in an area that is completely safe.
